Dos Gardenias is the latest, most passionate and inspiring band to come out of Southern Oregon. Blending the sounds of Cuba, Brazil, Spain and the rest of the world (think Buena Vista Social Club meets Jobim and Ottmar Liebert), these musicians have found the perfect mix of music to entrance and uplift the crowds. Formed in 2007, Dos Gardenias has created a unique and distinct sound that captivates listeners. Bring your dancing shoes and be ready to sway those hips to the rythmic, latin dance grooves. Original music is a given for this band. The song writers Andy Pimentel and Antonio Melendez expell beautifully arranged music, inspired by pre-Castro Cuba, Nuevo Flamenco, Bossa Nova and World Music. The passion these writers posess is clear in songs like "Peru", "Move Me" and "Rumba Rapido". Any lover of music will greatly appreciate this group of multi-talented musicians.
